Natasha is a Research Assistant at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS). She graduated from Adelphi University in December 2021 with a B.S. in Cognitive Neuroscience. During her time at Adelphi, Natasha was a student researcher at Dr. Dominic Fareri’s Lab for Social Neuroscience and Decision-Making where she worked on a project that investigated impulsive decision-making tendencies. To expand her knowledge in computational neuroscience, Natasha took courses in computer science that strengthened her coding skills and enabled her to manipulate and interpret data. Aside from her career at Adelphi, Natasha was an intern at the Global Psychiatric Epidemiology Group where she worked on different studies that investigate child psychopathology and substance use. During her time at CSTS, Natasha hopes to gain more knowledge about trauma-informed care and PTSD. Natasha hopes to obtain a PhD in Clinical Psychology and be commissioned as an officer in the Navy.
