Joey is a Research Assistant at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS). He graduated from Wake Forest University (NC) in May 2022 with a B.S. in Health Science. At Wake Forest, Joey had the opportunity to work at Wake Forest Baptist Health through the INVEST study, working with participants one-on-one to help them lose weight without compromising muscle mass or bone density. At CSTS, Joey hopes to refine his research skills and learn about different areas of traumatic stress. In the future, Joey hopes to attend graduate school and/or medical school and pursue a career in the medical field.
